Follicular unit
the grouping of hair that emerges from a singular “pore” in the skin

Gene
a certain segment on a chromosome that provides a coding (template) for the manufacture of a wide variety of molecules that are to be used by the body

Graft
a section of scalp tissue containing anywhere from 1 to several hairs; decades ago, some grafts contained 18-22 hairs; our grafts contain 1 to 4 hairs (follicular units)
